Subhadra Mahajan has worked extensively in the world of TV commercials, assisting a wide range of Indian & International directors in the niche of beauty (hair, skin and make up) on some of the top brands in India- L’Oreal, Garnier, Ponds, Lakme, Dove, Nivea and Tresemme to name a few. She kick-started directing independently with 6 ‘brand-less’ fashion films which found selections at London Fashion Film Festival and Sarajevo Fashion Film Festival 2019. Subhadra also wrote the script and was the First Assistant Director of Pan Nalin’s fiction release ANGRY INDIAN GODDESSES which premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival and walked away with the Runner Up Grolsch Audience Choice Award at the festival. Since then, the film has visited a number of festivals all over the world and had a theatrical release in over 60 countries. Her other collaboration with Nalin ‘LAST FILM SHOW’ premiered at Tribeca 2021 and is India’s official entry to the Oscars of 2023. She is currently editing her debut feature film project ‘SECOND CHANCE’. The project has been part of 2020 Arthouse Produire au Sud Workshop and has been selected for NFDC Film Bazaar’s 2020 CoProduction Market and then further presented at Marche Du Film, Cannes 2021. It has also been mentored by Film Independent’s prestegious ‘Global Media Makers’ programme 2022.

Bhushitendu is a filmmaker and photographer, originally from Varanasi, and now working between New Delhi and Mumbai. After graduating from NID Ahmedabad, he worked at Viacom18, and assisted filmmakers like Pushpendra Misra and Bharat Sikka, before beginning his independent practice. He has experience directing TV commercials, music videos, short documentaries, and digital content.
